FIELD: measurement technology. SUBSTANCE: device includes measurement section of gas pipe-line, pressure transmitter, meter injecting indicating gas connected to timer and sensor sensitive to indicating gas, timer and time interval recorder connected in series. Measurement chamber separated from gas pipe-line by porous consumption measuring washer is positioned between gas pipe-line and sensor sensitive to indicating gas. Device provides for increased measurement accuracy of consumption of gas pipe-lines, for measurement of gas consumption in high-pressure gas pipe-lines without drainage of pipe-line walls by usage of available technological holes, for instance manometer unions in bypasses of main line cocks. Insertion of measurement chamber makes it possible to expand choice of detectors of indicating gas and to employ high-sensitivity sensors meant for operation under normal pressure.
