FIELD: veterinary science. SUBSTANCE: method involves mucus differentiation: deoxyribonucleic acid mucus of gram-negative bacteria, mucin mucus of the inflammated intestine mucosa and mucus of the damaged intestine mucosa. For this purpose mucus samples are mixed with potassium hydroxide or sodium chloride solutions. Mucus species in sample is identified if after mixing with special reagent of mucous cord or flakes are formed. Method is used for express-analysis and differentiation of mucus species in calves and piglets feces for intestine disbacteriosis diagnosis. EFFECT: decreased time of disbacteriosis diagnosis (up to 30 min). 3 cl, 2 tbl, 2 ex
