FIELD: road building, more particularly production activated mineral powder for asphalt-concrete mix. SUBSTANCE: activated mineral powder comprises mineral material of carbonate rocks, second fat tar and soluble wood meal, the ratios of components being as follows (wt %): 97.8-98.2 mineral material; 0.5-1.3 second fat tar; and 0.9-1.3 soluble wood resin. Use of the claimed activated mineral powder for preparation of asphalt- concrete mix makes it possible to reduce water saturation and increase compression strength limit of asphalt concrete at 50. EFFECT: improved properties of the activated mineral powder.
