FIELD: chemical industry. SUBSTANCE: present invention describes compositions for preparation of cutting liquid emulsion used for machining of metals by cutting. Self-emulsifying oil for preparation of cutting liquid for machining of metals comprises mineral oil, monoethanol amine, fatty acid, boric acid and water and further comprises non-ionic surfactant and complex, the ratio of components being as follows, wt.%: mineral oil, 10-30; monoethanol amine, 6-20; fatty acid, 4-20; boric acid, 6-20; non-ionic surfactant, 0.1-15; complex, 1-5; and water, the balance.
