FIELD: oil-producing industry; may be used in development of nonuniform oil pool with nonuniform reservoirs. SUBSTANCE: method includes determination of capacity and filtration properties of reservoirs of producing horizon and establishment of duration of half-cycles of cyclic mode of water injection through injection wells. Injected at the beginning of the first half-cycle into injection wells, into highly permeable intervals of producing horizon section are reagents intensifying hydrodynamic resistance of formations and preserving these properties during the time of the first half-cycle, and then water is injected during the entire first half-cycle. During the half-cycle water is injected to injection wells through the entire interval of producing horizon section. Reagents for intensifying the hydrodynamic resistance of formation may be introduced into flow of water injected into injection well with preservation of injection conditions. EFFECT: higher efficiency in oil recovery from pool. 2 tbl
