FIELD: mechanical engineering; chemical and rubber industries. SUBSTANCE: worm press has housing with charging funnel and worm shaft, filtering screen and die plate mounted at outlet of discharge arrangement, worm shaft electric motor current sensor and die plate temperature sensor. Polymeric material granulator with grain size regulator and pressure transmitter are installed additionally in discharge arrangement. Polymeric material moisture concentration sensor and computing device are installed at press outlet. Inputs of computing device are connected, respectively, with outputs of worm shaft electric motor current sensor, die plate temperature sensor, pressure transmitter and polymeric material moisture concentration sensor. Output of computing device is connected with input of polymeric material grain size regulator. EFFECT: possibility of control of moisture concentration at outlet of worm press, regulation of grain size, more complete removal of moisture, enhanced rheological properties of polymeric material. 1 dwg
