SUBSTANCE: present invention discloses method of preparing chloroprene as semifinished product by dehydrochlorination of 3,4-chlorobutene-1 in the presence of lime and primary amine of formula: R-NH₂ in which R is monofunctional C₁-C₁₅ hydrocarbon selected from linear or branched alkyl, alkylaryl, cyclohexyl, alkylcyclohexyl, cyclopentyl, alkylcyclopentyl of formula: R-NH₂, and is regenerated. Dehydrochlorination is carried out preferably at 30-70 C at ratio of reagents close to stoichiometric amount.
