FIELD: ammunition, specifically, mines laid underground and exploding above ground after escape. SUBSTANCE: ammunition with target detector is put into ground. Jet engine with two-stage reduction of thrust is started after detection of target and flight module of ammunition is brought out of ground. It is divided into subammunition by explosion which are scattered under action of jet streams with various horizontal components of speed. Flight of subammunition to targets is stabilized by reduction of part of their mass. Ammunition proper is manufactured in the form of container with cover that houses flight module with solid-propellant jet engine fitted with igniter with powder weights as well as bursting charges coupled by blasting system, subammunition and target detector. Jet engine is placed on top of flight module and its peripheral nozzles are positioned with inclination to longitudinal axis of ammunition. Subammunition with stabilizers are located in two cassette containers with central bursting charges put one after the other behind jet engine. Some of subammunition in each container is enclosed in additional metal envelope which carries system of attachment of subammunition. Each subammunition has capability to drop part of its mass.
