FIELD: cluster ammunition. SUBSTANCE: ejection of the cluster of ready-made hitting components is accomplished separately from blasting of the high-explosive warhead. Provision is made for varying the time interval between the above actions, depending on the conditions of use. Ejection of the cluster of ready-made hitting components is accomplished at an approach of ammunition to the target by means of a charge-driven separation device, and the high-explosive warhead is blasted at a fall of the ammunition on the ground or at the instant of fly by the target. Provision is made for designs of ammunition for ejection of ready-made hitting components in the direction of flight, opposite the direction of flight and in radial directions.
