FIELD: tool making industry, namely manufacture of reamers. SUBSTANCE: reamer includes at least one cutting tip 1 with continuous V-shaped clamping groove 9 in its front side. Lateral sides of clamping groove 9 form in hypothetical plane coinciding with front surface 7 of cutting tip 1 angle α equal to 10 degrees. Groove 9 is arranged approximately in the middle of cutting tip 1; along its lateral edges and end faces there are bearing surfaces 21,23. Cutting tip is rectangular rotary one, and two diametrically opposite zones of its lateral edges serve as cutting edge 3 and additional cutting edge 5 respectively. Reamer is provided with means for aligning extension of cutting tip out of circumferential surface of reamer. Tip 1 is made by sintering or by electro-erosion working. EFFECT: reliable mounting of cutting tip at using reamer, for example at high-speed working of holes, relatively low vibration of cutting tip and guaranteed elimination of cutting tip shift. 16 cl, 4 dwg
