FIELD: mining; used in support and maintenance of mine shaft collars. SUBSTANCE: method includes drilling of holes, maintenance of temperature of phase transition on support-rock contact, formation by season freezing of ice-rock cylinder round shaft which is supported compositely by heat insulating layer meeting the requirements of reliable support of shaft, mounting of reinforcement of shaft and heat insulation. Coefficient of thermal resistance for composite heat-insulating layer is not less than 2 sq.mK/W. Holes for mounting the cooling devices are spaced at 2-3 m from one another. In this case, this distance shall not exceed double distance from cooling devices to support-rock control. Beyond the contour of location of cooling devices, holes are drilled and piles are installed for mounting of support and building of headframe with formation of ventilated space between winter surface and lower part of mine headframe. EFFECT: provision of reliable operation for full period of operation. 4 cl, 11 dwg
