SUBSTANCE: longitudinal vortices are formed above heat-exchange surface by laying radial flow caused by revolving disks on incoming flow due to positioning them above heat-exchange surface at distance ranging from b/5 to 2b; disks are located in parallel relative to each other at distance b within the following range: d<b<10d, where for laminar flow and d = r(0.05+5(log(Re))-2.7) for turbulent flow; b is distance between disks, m; ω is angular velocity of rotation of disks (rad/s); V is kinematic viscosity of incoming flow, sq.m/s; r is radius of disks, m; Re = r2ω/v is Reynolds number; line tangent to line of intersection of heat-exchange surface and arbitrary plane parallel to plane of disks coincides with vector of incoming flow velocity in direction. EFFECT: increased extraction of heat from unit of heat-exchange surface.
