SUBSTANCE: heat exchanger has a body with an air conduit, which accommodates a rotor in the form of a disk pack mounted on a shaft, heat exchange surface, as well as intake and exhaust air and heat manifolds. The heat exchange surface serves as one of the sides of the air conduit, separates the cooling and heating areas and is made as a cylindrical shell partially enveloping the rotor disks; the rotor shaft is positioned perpendicularly to the incoming air flow.
