FIELD: power supply to various pieces of equipment including three-phase motors from single-phase power mains. SUBSTANCE: voltage is changed by geometric summation of vectors of electromotive forces induced in secondary windings wound on extreme legs of three-legs magnetic core. To this end, two magnetic fluxes are built up in extreme legs from single-phase power supply which are relatively shifted in phase through 120 electrical degrees; these fluxes are geometrically summed up in central core. Three- phase load is connected in delta, and lacking third electromotive force is obtained as vector opposing that resulting from geometric summation of two electromotive forces induced in secondary windings. EFFECT: facilitated induction of equal-modulo electromotive forces in secondary windings. 2 cl, 2 dwg
