FIELD: electric power supply. SUBSTANCE: converting method involves excitation of magnetic flow from single-phase power supply in middle rod of three-rod transformer, excitation of opposite magnetic flow in one of extreme rods by means of short-circuited winding, inducing electromotive forces by main and resulting magnetic flows in secondary windings which are located on extreme rods, connection of load in delta circuit, and generation of third electromotive force by geometric subtraction of electromotive forces induced in secondary windings.
