SUBSTANCE: flax pickup-turner has picking drum 1, crossed turning conveyor 3 and conveyor 4 positioned at an angle of 90 deg to conveyor 3 and adapted to transfer stalks for further laying. Conveyor 3 has two belts 11, 12 which are brought into contact one with another to define turning groove with outlet end having portion 13 positioned perpendicular to inlet end. Conveyor 4 is positioned in plane of portion 13 of turning groove, begins in working zone of portion 13 and is made contiguous with it. Butter 5 is mounted at lower side of conveyor 4.
