FIELD: plastic metal working, possibly constructing dies for cold and semihot die forging. SUBSTANCE: die includes inserts, intermediate slit sleeve and body. Two grooves with bridge between them having thickness 1.6-2.0 mm are made along generatrices of cone slit sleeve. EFFECT: reduced consumption of high cost tool material for making slit sleeve, possibility of complete transfer of interference to inserts, enhanced design of sleeve providing its multiple use together with body. 2 dwg
