FIELD: chemical industry, more particularly preservation of internal and external surfaces of main pipelines. SUBSTANCE: UV- hardened composition is intended for temporary protective coatings to preserve internal and external surfaces of main pipelines during transportation and storage period thereof. The claimed composition comprises triethylene glycol dimethacrylic ether, di-, tri-, 1,2-propylene glycol, anthraquinone or β-chloroanthraquinone, ferrocene or diethyl ferrocene, zinc chloride, aluminium powder, polyvinyl chloride or mixture thereof with crushed mica. Composition makes it possible to increase gel formation rate and hardening rate of coating, improve elasticity thereof and increase strength and adhesion of UV-hardened coating.
