FIELD: self-carrying steam boilers. SUBSTANCE: boiler has furnace 1 and convective gas duct 2 having common intermediate diaphragm tubular shield 3 with screen at rear end face of boiler and tubes with repair openings in convective gas duct 2. They are provided with additional tubes 20 of boiler bank 17 which are bent in V-shaped pattern across convective gas duct 2. Ends of tubes having bends are rigidly connected at base with tubes of intermediate shield along their generatrices; tops of bends are rigidly connected with tubes of shield of convective gas duct 2. End tube is bent in V-shaped pattern across convective gas duct; top of bent is rigidly connected with shield of convective gas duct. Tops of V-shaped bends are connected to shield of convective gas duct 2 at points where stiffening girder is secured to it. EFFECT: increased strength of boiler; enhanced durability. 3 cl, 7 dwg
