FIELD: forest and wood-working industries, in particular, laying-out of timber by circular saws. SUBSTANCE: method consists in movement of wood on location surface perpendicularly to the axis of rotation of the saw. The distance between the axis of rotation of the saw and the location surface varies according to preset periodic law by the value hot exceeding to one and a half of the height of through saw cut with formation of one maxim and one minimum distance per cycle of variation of distance. EFFECT: reduced power consumption at through sawing by one saw.
