FIELD: forestry and wood-working industry, in particular, timber sawing processes.

SUBSTANCE: method involves moving timber to disk saw for longitudinal sawing thereof; providing longitudinal movement of timber during processing thereof; providing longitudinal sawing of timber while leaving uncut bands, followed by separation of sawn timber; leaving triangular uncut bands at timber end parts, said triangular uncut bands being defined by arc of circle having radius equal to half the diameter of saws used, and by straight lines arranged in end plane and in plane parallel to axis of timber under sawing process; placing processed timber into stack of ready product; dividing sawn and processed timber into boards at user's storehouse by transverse sawing thereof and separation of their end parts, or by longitudinal sawing of uncut bands.

EFFECT: improved timber sawing quality, simplified construction of machine and reduced labor intensity.
