FIELD: wood-working industry, in particular, manufacture of wood particle boards. SUBSTANCE: device orienting assembly is made in the form of a number of horizontal-parallel hollow members interconnected to a single frame. The top part of air conduits carries pneumatic nozzles, whose air ports are arranged in parallel with axes of air conduit members and oriented to opposite sides relative to nozzles of adjacent air conduits. Fastened to the bottom part of parallel air conduits are guide plates preventing the further turning of shaving at its placement in mat. Shaving, falling onto the orienting assembly, is turned by head air streams to the required position, and then is placed over the guides in mat. EFFECT: enhanced quality of boards due to decrease of volume of broken shaving. 2 dwg
