FIELD: production of steel cords and multistrand ropes. SUBSTANCE: machine has frame, setting coils, rotating system, unit for twisting wires into rope, winding drum and drive with common transmission. Rotating system has concentrically mounted inner cylindrical housing with toothed gear and outer cylindrical housing with toothed gear, and toothed wheel kinematically connected with inner housing. Bar is axially mounted within housing and two faceplates are positioned at housing ends. Machine is further provided with distributing faceplate kinematically connected with outer housing and rotating in synchronism with it. Two rotating faceplates mounted on ends of inner housing and bar positioned within the housing facilitate continuous rope twisting process. EFFECT: increased efficiency, enhanced reliability in operation and wider operational capabilities. 4 dwg
