FIELD: operation of oil and gas deposits; applicable in cleaning of tubings of oil and gas producing wells. SUBSTANCE: device contains body filled with chemically active substance reacting with water. Body is made in the form of cylindrical shell of aluminum or its alloy. Chemically active substance is used in the form of metallic sodium filling the body so that free volume inside shell is formed which is used for joining the devices to each other. Weight of body from aluminum relates to weight of metallic sodium within 1 to 3. The device is introduced into lubricator and lowered under gravity. Deposits are removed in the course of thermochemical treatment with water content in oil of not less than 60 mas.%. Pressure drop is effected periodically through well gate.
