FIELD: mechanical engineering; folding butt joints of rods. SUBSTANCE: butt joint includes connecting part with bearing surface for coaxially positioning the rods to be connected, parts for turning rods mounted on connecting part and rods proper on which brackets are rigidly secured in area of their connection. Cantilever ends of brackets located on side of bearing surface are provided with articulated links; opposite ends of these links are articulated together. Ends of links are interconnected by means of intermediate parts. EFFECT: enhanced reliability of joint. 3 cl, 5 dwg
