SUBSTANCE: device has sealing tool with through hole and adapter that can be inserted in this hole and that has one or more holes to receive at least one long object; sealing device incorporates sealant and compressing facility for sealant compression; compressing facility can be displaced in longitudinal direction relative to one or more long objects so as to compress sealant to bring it to tight contact with one or more long objects. Sealing technique includes arrangement of adapter around long objects and sealing device, around adapter followed by compression of sealant.
