FIELD: safe smoking. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to retention of injurious compounds contained in tobacco smoke which, to our time, are insufficiently retained by common cigarette filters. Method consists in enriching common filters with metal ions (ferric, cupric, magnesium) forming complexes with porphyrin ring as well as ferric ions stereospecifically bound to protein molecules: separately or in combinations with each other. Such enrichment of common filters with indicated biological substances does not affect neither physical properties of tobacco smoke (smell, taste, and appearance), nor physical properties of filter itself. When manufacturing such filter, common tobacco smoke filter is impregnated with one or several biological substances.
