FIELD: mining industry. SUBSTANCE: method of continuous mining of aggregate material from seam implies undercutting of seam material, extracting and transportation of loose material, also advancing of mining machine in seam which is connected with head section of conveyor unit, pulling up of conveyor unit by mining machine. Connected to rear section of conveyor unit by means of rigid couplers are additional sections. Simultaneously mined material is moved from rear section to receiving conveyor located below it. After that, conveyor unit is moved forward by pushing its rear section. Device is provided with conveyor unit possessing mutually interconnected head section, intermediate section, rear section and mining machine which is connected with head section of conveyor and propelling facility. Located under discharge end of conveyor rear section on platform is receiving conveyor. Pushing facility is connected with conveyor rear section. Conveyor sections are connected by rigid couplers. Mining machine and conveyor unit can advance straight forward in seam. Application of aforesaid method and device allows for continuous mining of seam. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 23 cl, 13 dwg
