CYCLIC DRIER FOR LOOSE MATERIALS Russian patent published in 1998 - IPC

FIELD: drying of solid materials with mixing of dried material conducted by stream of heated gaseous atmosphere, drying of grain in agriculture, drying of sawdust and other loose materials in wood-working industry. SUBSTANCE: proposed drier is sectionalized and includes from three to seven sections. Each section has horizontal drying zone which grill is fitted with electric heaters for its heating and vertical column with separating partition adjusted by height that divides column into two sections of upward drying and incident cooling. Upper part of vertical column has air release window with adjusted damper to discharge moist air. EFFECT: intensification of drying process, reduced energy consumption and increased dross of moisture during single passage of product through drier. 2 cl, 3 dwg
