FIELD: flying vehicles; transfer of reserve fuel tank making use of external store elements. SUBSTANCE: method consists in filling the tank with fuel and securing it to helicopter bottom. Device for transfer of tank includes winch with cargo ropes; secured to cargo ropes are locks with automatic release and retainers secured on helicopter casing. On tank surface there are shaped pins engageable with locks. Locks and retainers are provided with grips which are secured by means of hinges. Shaped pins are provided with shoulders.
