DEVICE FOR AZIMUTH ORIENTATION AND LOCKING OF CARGO ON EXTERNAL STORE Russian patent published in 2003 - IPC

FIELD: aeronautical engineering; equipment of helicopters used for transportation of cargo and performing construction work. SUBSTANCE: proposed device includes beam with cargo ropes at ends which is connected with lock of flying vehicle by means of converging members, orienting system engageable with said beam and used for transmission of torque; it is made in form of ring with grooves which is rotatable around axis of cargo store and connected with flying vehicle by means of flexible and elastic couplings. Device is provided with drive mechanism with rope guiding pulley, endless tractive member received by grooves of ring and angle blocks; flexible and elastic couplings are secured to angle blocks; endless tractive member embraces rope pulley by several turns and both runs of endless tractive member envelope ring and angle blocks in opposite directions. Ends of beam are engageable with Ω-shaped members secured between parallel sections of ring rigid couplings. EFFECT: enhanced stability of load in required position in azimuth. 3 cl, 5 dwg
