FIELD: WASHING MEANS. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to gel of apolar medium containing at last one apolar component, at last one dispersed therein liquid multichain surfactant in H-form in amount 0.5 to 10% of gel weight. In addition, gel contains at last one neutralization agent in amount 20-30 times exceeding its stoichiometric quantity and 0.2 to 5 water molecules per one surfactant molecule. Gel can contain emulsifier and solid filler soluble or insoluble in apolar medium. A variety of substances as apolar medium, as surfactant, and as neutralization agent are presented. Method of invention consists in preparing gel by mechanically mixing components. Gel can be used for preparing washing liquid representing a mixture of surfactants and other components constituting gel which is diluted with water in such a way that liquid contained 0.01 to 3 weight parts of hydrocolloid capable to thicken aqueous media. Washing liquid in the form of foam, prepared by means of specified precursor system, is used when excavating tunnels. Advantage of proposed gel consists in that it has viscoelastic characteristics enabling preparation of both weak and concentrated gels and, respectively, to use them for different objectives. For instance, when using gel as washing liquid, there is a possibility to dispose this liquid in common dumps as gel is readily biodegradable.
