CYLINDRICAL MECHANISM OF HIGHER SECRECY FOR LOCKING DEVICES Russian patent published in 1998 - IPC

FIELD: locking devices. SUBSTANCE: cylindrical mechanism has main cylinder which is connected with span-piece of lock, row of spring-biased pins in body corresponding to coding pins of main cylinder, and key. Introduced in mechanism is additional cylinder, and introduced in body are two rows of spring-biased pins for additional cylinder which are located at determined angle relative to each other. Located at same angle are passages for introduction of keys of main cylinder and additional cylinder. Provided at one side of key are two similar lines of cuts to receive coding pins of additional cylinder, and provided at other side of key is one line of cuts for coding pins of main cylinder. Mechanism is also provided with stopping screws which are seated in annular slots of both cylinders. Cylinders of mechanism are adapted for coaxial displacement relative to each other. Found in main cylinder are limiters of key lateral profile. Aforesaid embodiment of cylindrical mechanism ensures higher secrecy of locking devices. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 3 cl, 6 dwg
