SUBSTANCE: device uses special-purpose integral circuit (chip) for display data transmission channel in order to prevent fault of vertical deviation chip by interruption of input of high- frequency signal of about 25 kHz, and vertical deviation chip for reading information data of monitor which are stored in chip. Protection device has unit of display transmission channel, which receives vertical synchronization signal from computer I/O unit and sends display data to computer I/O unit after given time interval, and vertical frequency selection unit, which interrupts sending of wrong vertical synchronization signal with higher frequency than frequency of normal vertical synchronization signal, into vertical deviation chip, when wrong vertical synchronization signal is received from computer I/O unit for display data transmission.
