FIELD: electrical engineering. SUBSTANCE: device has yoke, cores of poles, pole pieces and multiphase ring homopolar armature winding. Phases of multiphase ring homopolar armature winding are distributed around rotation axis of inductor, so that axes of phases of ring homopolar armature winding coincide with rotation axis of inductor. Two cores of poles that belong two adjacent pole pieces are located on opposite sides of phase of ring homopolar winding. P cores of poles are located on arbitrary side of ring homopolar armature winding. Subsequent pole core which is located on same side belongs to (m+1)-th pole piece which is shifted with respect to adjacent pole piece by angle of 360/m electric degrees. Yoke provides serial magnetic circuit of m+1 pole cores, two of which are extreme, are located on opposite sides of armature along generator. Their axes are shifted in space by 360 electric degrees.
