FIELD: electrical engineering. SUBSTANCE: armature with pole pair 2p has annular, (m 3)-phase like-polarity field winding in which axis of each coil is aligned with rotor axis of revolution, teeth cores belonging to adjacent toothed pole shoes and placed on opposite sides of annular like-polarity field winding, P teeth cores being arranged on either side of each coil of any phase. Armature is designed so that number of phase coils of annular winding equals 2Qm, where Q is number of toothed pole shoes per pole per phase and m is odd number of phases; number of toothed pole shoes is 2Qmp; number of teeth cores is (2Qm + 1)P; cores of two adjacent toothed pole shoes are relatively shifted through 360/2Qm el. deg; for any odd number of phases, every Q adjacent coils arranged along rotor shaft axis form phase coil groups in which coils are connected cumulatively in series; each of K-th and (m + K-th) coil groups are connected either differentially in series or differentially in parallel; coil groups (m + K) are counted off starting from any coil group assigned number one; starting lead of first phase is starting lead of coil group assigned number one; starting leads of remaining phases of m-phase annular winding, that is, those of second, third, fourth, etc. phases are starting leads of coil groups in sequence of coil numbers (2Qn + 1), where n is natural set number starting from unity, with n m. EFFECT: provision for eliminating all even harmonics in distribution curve for armature-to-rotor gap. 4 dwg
