FIELD: equipment for separating liquid nonhomogeneous media. SUBSTANCE: separator has housing with closure and drum positioned within housing. Drum has shell with cover and base. Partition wall is positioned in lower part of base above its bottom to define fraction discharge zone. Delivery disk for discharging heavy fraction is positioned in fraction discharge zone. Hollow shaft is provided with axial channel for discharging light fraction. Plate holder with pack of plates and device for supplying separated liquid medium are mounted in drum. Separator has device for filtering medium supplied for separation. Filtering device has annular chamber positioned in housing and provided with filtrate discharge branch pipe. Inner wall of annular chamber is formed as filtering member which defines, together with drum shell, through channel for filtering and supplying of medium into pack of plates from side adjacent to slurry space. Filter mounted below partition wall of base is formed as hollow disk with axial filtrate discharge channel adapted for filtering heavy fraction and portion of light fraction with finely dispersed solid phase. Throttles are positioned in gaps between plates of pack of plates in drum. EFFECT: increased separating efficiency and enhanced reliability in operation. 2 cl, 2 dwg
