FIELD: oil production industry. SUBSTANCE: this relates to sediment-and-gel formation compounds which are used in multilayer beds and non-uniform multilayer beds at high-flooded sections of oil deposits. Compound contains solution of aluminium chloride and 15% solution of muriatic acid in ratio of 2:1. Application of aforesaid compound yields good results in controlling process of gel-formation. It allows to produce maximal possible volume of gel and in amount which is needed for filling permeable sections of bed with sediment due to interaction with carbonate grounds.
