FIELD: electrical engineering. SUBSTANCE: transducer converting measured parameter to current using pointer- type instrument is designed as vacuum-tube triode operating in mode of heat electron emission from cathode. Galvanometer as pointer-type instrument is scaled in Ohms and measures current in grid circuit which depends on resistance of resistor which is connected to anode and cathode of tube. Negative bias voltage is applied to anode of tube in order to increase range of measured resistance and increase the operating scale range. EFFECT: possibility to measure resistance from 10e3 to 10e11 Ohm. 1 dwg
