SUBSTANCE: logarithmic microwave amplifier has series-connected amplifier cell and log cell built up of input and output quadrature bridges, series-connected diode and capacitor, and series-connected first additional capacitor and first additional diode, as well as series-connected second additional diode and second additional capacitor, series-connected third additional capacitor and third additional diode, and also second additional resistor; anode of diode, cathode of first additional diode, and first lead of resistor are combined and connected to first lead of input quadrature bridge ; second plate of capacitor, first plate of first additional capacitor, and second lead of resistor are combined and connected to first input of output quadrature bridge; cathode of second additional diode, anode of third additional diode, and first lead of additional resistor are combined and connected to second output of input quadrature bridge; second plate of second additional capacitor, first plate of third additional capacitor, and second lead of additional resistor are combined and connected to second input of output quadrature bridge.
