FIELD: agricultural engineering. SUBSTANCE: apparatus has seed hopper connected with electric separator and separator control unit, vessels for receiving clean seeds and wastes and seed physical parameter detecting unit, electric drive, control unit and indication unit. Seed physical parameter detecting unit is formed as microwave generator and microwave receiver, and its output is connected to control input of electric drive, whose shaft is connected to electric separator control unit. Such construction allows electric parameters of separator to be changed depending on seed dielectric permeability. Improved quality of seed selection is provided by detecting and registering seed dielectric constants depending on sowing qualities of seeds. Predetermined field intensity of dielectric separator winding facilitates efficient selection of seeds by their quality. EFFECT: improved quality of seed selection and separation, and increased yield. 4 dwg
