FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves removing mammary gland segment and making subclavicular axillary subscapular lymphadenectomy. Incision is drawn along the interior outline of the mammary gland and continued as two semiovals towards the areola mammae. The segment being removed, the contour incision is continued along the retromammary fold. The mammary gland is separated from the musculus pectoralis major upwards and outwards to the musculus latissimus dorsi. Lymphadenectomy being done, mammary gland graft is transferred to the defect area followed by mammary gland modeling with layer-by-layer sutures and creation of new retromammary fold. EFFECT: improved cosmetic results.
