FIELD: locking devices. SUBSTANCE: in this combination, lock has shaped side lug which is located in slot for key. Lug has relatively shallow recesses. Protrusion of side shifting pin can displace in these recesses in vertical direction. Shaped lug also has continuously passing edge portion. Key is provided with relatively shallow coding groove which interacts with protrusions of shifting side pins. Key is also provided with rectilinear and more deeper shaped groove to receive edge portion of shaped side lug. Aforesaid embodiment of cylindrical lock and key improves protection of lock from unauthorized opening and burglary. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 15 cl, 10 dwg
