FIELD: horticultural equipment. SUBSTANCE: spade has blade with holder, stepped roll 3 and sleeve 5. Blade with holder is rigidly fixed on roll 3. Spring 4 is initially put on smaller-diameter part of roll 3 and secured with its one end, then sleeve 5 is loosely put onto larger-diameter part of roll 3. Screw 6 is inserted into roll 3 through slot of sleeve 5. Other end of spring is rigidly fixed to sleeve 5. Such connection of roll 3, spring 4 and sleeve 5 allows stepped roll 3 to rotate about common axis through predetermined angle depending on length of sleeve slot. Blade is provided with projection connected to tine through flexible tie-rod. Tine is pivotally connected with sleeve 5 and fixed by bolts to support. Pivotal connection of tine and sleeve allows shank 13 to be lifted or lowered during operation. EFFECT: increased efficiency by reducing required physical force and fatigue of user to drive spade into soil. 2 dwg
