FIELD: horticulture. SUBSTANCE: digger has blade, curved shank with main handle at shank end opposed to end where blade is attached, and auxiliary handle connected to blade through tie-rod of adjustable length. Curved shank is made detachable and is composed of at least two parts. One part is connected to blade and other parts are arranged so that their position relative to blade may be changed and fixed. Tie-rod is made flexible and is connected to blade upper angle. Shank detachable parts may be made tubular and may be telescopically coupled one with the other. Detachable parts of shank may be connected by thread or coupling with V-shaped tooth. Length of shank and distance between shank and blade may be adjusted and they may be fixed in position convenient for worker. Digger of such construction is adapted for cultivating soil in home's ground, recultivating virgin lands, autumn and spring digging of soil, as well as for root harvesting.
