FIELD: textile industry. SUBSTANCE: proposed thread feed damper is designed for feeding fiber thread from cassette spool to feeder in robot arm which can move freely over shop. Damper has thread brake and at least one movable thread guide acted upon by press force. Thread passes from cassette spool through brake and thread guide and further on in direction of feeder so that press force acts to provided damping of thread between brake and thread feeder. damper has thread stock of variable length. EFFECT: prevention of thread entangling at interruption of thread feeding. 2 dwg
