FIELD: devices for flotation of sewage to remove oil products, fats, suspended particles and other impurities. SUBSTANCE: flotator has vertical cylindrical metal body installed on foundation and accommodating in its lower part of acute-angled conical settling tank for heavy sludge and suspended particles, and in its upper part, obtuse-angled conical unit for better mixing with air of sewage supplied for treatment, and gradual reduction of area of collection of flotation sludge. Installed immovably and concentrically inside flotator body is the second cylindrical vessel welded to outer body by connectors installed uniformly over circumference in two tiers. Internal vessel upper part is in the form of obtuse-angled cone, and its lower part, in the form of acute-angled cone without bottom. Mounted tangentially into upper part of flotator body, under conical part, are two pipes for supply of sewage. Inlets of these pipes are installed opposite radially from two sides of flotator body. Installed concentrically to each other at 0.3-0.35 height of flotator body, in annular space between internal vessel and flotator body, are two aerators for supply of compressed air for sewage flotation. Mounted into main line of introduction of sewage is pipe for supply of compressed air. EFFECT: higher quality of treatment and increased process efficiency. 3 cl, 3 dwg
