FIELD: urban and rural sewages purification. SUBSTANCE: method provides for aeration, first aeration and biochemical oxidation in aerotank, second aeration, separation of excessive active sludge, mixing of regenerated active sludge with operating active sludge and unpurified sewages. In the case after settling additional aeration is exercised, operating active sludge in mixture is fed by its returning from stream after additional aeration before first aeration and biochemical oxidation in aerotank. Total concentration of active sludge in mixing volume is kept in limits of 16 - 40 g/l. Apparatus has connected to each other by pipelines settler, flotators of first and second stages with slime pockets and discharge mechanisms, aerotank, locking capacities with pumps and ejectors mounted before each flotator and inlet and outlet pipelines. Settler has vertical partition, that divides it for chamber of mixing and chamber of settling. Aerotank is mounted between flotators. Slime pockets of flotators have pipelines connecting them with chamber of mixing. Ejectors chambers of mixing are communicated with atmosphere.
