FIELD: sewing industry. SUBSTANCE: thread tightening device has movable and immovable combs. Thread is alternatively bending round comb teeth. Movable comb is made from resilient material allowing it to be bent toward immovable comb. Movable comb base is rigidly fixed. Working surfaces of comb are covered with antifriction material. Such construction allows thread tightening extent to be uniform over the whole length of thread. EFFECT: simplified construction and provision for uniform tightening of thread. 3 dwg
