RAILWAY FLAT CAR WITH BODY FOR CARRYING SEMITRAILERS Russian patent published in 1999 - IPC

FIELD: railway transport. SUBSTANCE: railway flat car with opening between longitudinal side beams for accommodating a body with bottom for installation of semitrailers and two side wall with devices for holding the body on longitudinal side beams of flat car and lifting eye plates has cross thrust beam between longitudinal side beams at least at one side of body. Body has rear flanged edge, and mounting members are installed on body holding devices and/or on longitudinal side beams of flat car. Body holding devices can be formed by upper projecting part of body side wall bent outwards, extension of body side wall resting on hooks secured on longitudinal side beams, or lifting eye plates proposer. Mounting members are made in form of stops arranged on longitudinal side beams at both sides of lifting eye plates or mounting pin fitted into hole of lifting eye plate. EFFECT: provision of possibility of quick loading and unloading of semitrailers by means of standard lifting equipment. 6 cl, 7 dwg
